Qualifications

The candidate must have experience working in manufacturing to be considered

Lead accounting team in the successful execution of closings (monthly, quarterly and year-end) on a timely basis; including but not limited to account reconciliations, margin analysis, and journal entries

Responsibilities

As a Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:

accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

Coordinating and executing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, meeting all financial reporting deadlines

Implementing, maintaining, and adhering to internal controls and ensuring compliance with GAAP

Assisting with the annual budget process, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning

Conducting cost analyses, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements
