Description We are in search of a Sr Tax Analyst to join our team located in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be required to competently perform various tasks related to state and federal income tax returns, income tax provision, and tax account reconciliations. You will also be tasked with responding to income and sales tax audits, and maintaining financial records in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: Preparation and review of state and federal income/franchise tax returns for different entities and jurisdictions Support the third-party tax advisor in the annual income tax compliance process, providing necessary documentation and processing final returns for submission Play a pivotal role in the preparation of income tax provision and tax account reconciliations Accurately forecast quarterly income tax estimates to determine the necessary tax payments/distributions for federal and state, and process the payments Promptly respond to notices from various tax authorities concerning federal and state tax issues, and maintain a log of notice status Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns for all jurisdictions Assist in handling income and sales tax audits Review and maintenance of financial records in QuickBooks for various shareholder entities, including preparing monthly bank reconciliations Provide analytical and tax research support and assist with special tax projects as necessary Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for efficient management of financial records Mastery of CaseWare is a must for effective auditing and financial reporting Familiarity with CCH IntelliConnect is needed for efficient tax research and planning Proficiency in CCH Prosystem is essential for tax preparation and compliance Expertise in CCH ProSystem Fx is required for efficient tax return processing Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary for accurate financial management Experience in Auditing is needed for ensuring compliance and identifying financial discrepancies Strong knowledge of Compliance regulations is required to ensure the company meets all tax obligations Familiarity with Entity Formation is needed to provide advice on business structures Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is crucial for understanding the company's financial health Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
