Greet & Seat: Welcome guests warmly and guide them to tables.
Menu Presentation: Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations (specials, pairings).
Order Taking: Accurately take food and drink orders, noting allergies/requests.
Serve: Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring quality and presentation.
Check-in: Monitor tables, refill drinks, and address needs during the meal.
Handle Issues: Resolve complaints professionally and involve management if needed.
Process Payments: Present bills, handle cash/card transactions, and issue receipts.
Operational Duties
Table Prep: Set tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments before service.
Cleanliness: Keep dining areas, service stations, and equipment clean and orderly.
Communication: Relay orders and special needs accurately to kitchen/bar staff.
Resetting: Clear tables, remove plates, and reset for the next guests.
Stocking: Keep stations stocked with ice, utensils, condiments, etc.
Support: Assist teammates with food running, bussing, and other tasks.
Compliance & Attitude
Safety: Follow health codes, sanitation, and alcohol service policies.
Positive Attitude: Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor.
