Registered Nurse (RN) II Cardiac Rehab – PRNCardiac Rehab department is looking for a top skilled nurse. Is that you?Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Ft. Worth, TX 76104 but may float to our Willow Park and Burleson locationsWork hours: Day shift, PRN (as needed)Department highlights:Cardiac Rehabilitation services are provided to patient with cardiovascular related disabilities or diseases that may limit their ability to function, or increase their risk of future disease or disability. Typical patient diagnoses referred to Cardiac Rehabilitation include, but are not limited to post Myocardial Infarction, Stable angina, Post coronary bypass grafts(CABG), Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI/Stents), Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular disease, Heart transplant, and Coronary dysrhythmias. Secondary diagnoses may include, but not limited to, pulmonary disease, hypertension, diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, LVAD, obesity, hyperlipidemia, muscular-skeletal or rheumatoid disorders, or cerebrovascular accident. Typical patient diagnoses referred to Vascular Rehabilitation are those with documented Peripheral Artery Disease and noted claudication symptoms in one or both legs.The Cardiac Rehab department staff is available for inpatient education from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Outpatient department hours are 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and Monday through Friday. We are a top choice in North Texas for emergency services, women’s services, cardiac care and much more.Here’s what you needEducationNursing Diploma in Nursing required orAssociate's Degree in Nursing required orBachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredExperienceOne (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse requiredLicenses and CertificationsRN - Registered Nurse upon hire required andBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required andACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (expiration date greater than three (3) months preferred) within ninety (90) days requiredSkillsA high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will:Practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient careThe professional nurse exhibits:
