Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Houston, Texas. As a BI Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analysis tools and strategies, managing and maintaining databases, and improving data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Responsibilities: Develop and implement data analysis tools and strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze data. Manage and maintain databases to ensure data integrity, security, and privacy. Identify and implement strategies to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Deliver reports and presentations to share insights and recommendations. Utilize Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server to enhance data visualization and reporting. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Continuously monitor data trends to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making. Ensure data strategies and architectures are in line with organizational goals. Provide technical advice and support related to data management and analysis. Requirements Possess a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry. Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server is required. Strong understanding of healthcare data, including clinical, financial and operational systems. Experience in data modeling and database design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical users. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
