IT Support Technician

Description We are in search of an IT Support Technician in the Healthcare/NHS sector based in Houston, Texas. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. The IT Support Technician will be expected to provide technical support across multiple locations, primarily focusing on workstation and printer issues, network troubleshooting, and biomedical engineering troubleshooting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive technical support across multiple locations. Troubleshoot workstation and printer issues to ensure smooth operations. Perform network troubleshooting to maintain connectivity and system performance. Assist in biomedical engineering troubleshooting, focusing on the local network connection to machines. Utilize Service Desk Plus and ServiceNow to track and resolve issues. Maintain technical proficiency with Windows 10-11 and other key technologies. Travel to different locations as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided. Support the transition to a new corporate location, ensuring seamless tech setup and support. Collaborate with other team members and agencies to resolve complex tech issues. Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments to effectively perform duties. Requirements Proficient knowledge and experience with Citrix Technologies. Familiarity with Dell Technologies is essential. Experience with EO/IR systems is required. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on Mac Computers. Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft applications. Expertise in managing Active Directory. Proven experience in handling Computer Hardware. Demonstrated skills in Configuration Management. Prior experience with Deployments in an IT setting. Must have provided Deskside Support in previous roles.
