Nursing Program Coordinator Career Opportunity!Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with at least three years of project/program coordination experience.SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to perform complex and comprehensive project/program management for institutional nursing programs. This position will also evaluate, plan, organize, manage, direct, and implement nursing programs and projects across the Division of Nursing while creating efficient processes using technology and partnering with nursing leadership to satisfy demand and expectations. The primary programs will center around the Nursing Professional Advancement Model (NPAM) and the Patient Care Technician (PCT) Career Growth Program.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESProgram Development & Support· Collaborates within the Division of Nursing as well as the department and overall organization to develop programs to ensure operational and strategic objectives are met.· Coordinates program speakers and collaborates with multiple departments while also managing meeting schedules, materials, and organizing program events.· Manages programs requiring application and selection process, coordinate curriculum, schedule speakers, and organizing program events.· Provide program website maintenance including bi-annual review of application criteria and recommendation forms.· Management of interview and selection process for developmental programs.· Special project leadership for the Division of Nursing; sometimes on an ad-hoc basis· Support department workflow independently or collaboratively. These functions include but are not limited to:o Development of templates for data collection.o Maintenance of departmental records and data. This may include but is not limited to applications, participant files, HR folders, and expenses.o Process analysis, quality assurance, and process improvement projects for programs. Evaluates and analyzes program operations and procedures and identifies areas for improvement.o Creating and presenting summaries and report analysis to the department and institution as required.· Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external sources for the achievement of departmental and institutional goals.· Ensure project/program efficiencies and timely outcomes.· Management of NPAM & PCT Career Growth Programs· Proposes, plans, directs and coordinates established, new and developing clinical programs. Evaluates clinical programs based on feasibility studies, strategic plans, program development and implementation. Identifies and resolves strategic and operational issues.Information Technology· Demonstrate knowledge and expertise of information and communication technology.· Serve as a resource for the procurement and utilization of information technology to assist in the achievement of departmental goals. This may include researching new technologies or continuing education to utilize existing and future technologies.· Monitors, evaluates, and reports on quality measures, program efficiency and budget performance. Creates and reports on KPIs to track and gauge process effectiveness.· Make use of information technology to meet department goals and functions. This may include but is not limited to:o Design, maintenance, and analysis of databases.o Qualtrics surveys.o Zoom meeting and webinar coordination.o Microsoft Teams management for Nursing projects, Quality Caring Awards, Nurses Month, and other projects as assigned.o Create automated process systems for Division of Nursing programs.o Interpretation of data, creation of summaries and reports.o Preparation of graphics, charts, spreadsheets, and tables.o Work with Information Technology department to resolve issues and meet departmental objectives.Financial and Resource Management· Reviews and revises departmental and program budgets.· Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system for internal controls for the programs.· Assists with budget planning and analysis.· Develops project plans, timelines, financial projections, and analyses.· Facilitates reimbursement management using Concur.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.ExperienceRequired: Three years project/program management experience.
