Caregiver - Assisted Living Facility
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our team at the assisted living community. As a caregiver, you will provide care and support to our elderly residents, helping them with daily living activities and enhancing their quality of life. No certification required - we provide on-the-job training!
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Help with mobility, including transfers and ambulation
Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean, safe living environment
Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding as needed
Engage residents in activities and provide companionship
Observe and document changes in residents' health and behavior
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Genuine desire to work with the elderly and physically challenged
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation to get to work on time for scheduled shifts
Excellent attendance and work ethic
No certification necessary - comprehensive on-the-job training provided
Schedule:
Full-time and part-time shifts available. Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
