Job Summary:
The Facilities Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Facilities upkeep- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing and lighting replacement.
· Production equipment PM’s.
· Assisting with large facility projects.
· Fire extinguisher upkeep.
· Moving office furniture.
· Identifying facility repairs before they become a problem.
· Travel if required.
· Pick up parts and supplies.
· Willing to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.
· Support production operations when needed.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of maintenance related experience required.
Basic painting, plumbing, lighting and mechanical skills.
Basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to complete work duties safely and efficiently.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Works well as a team and solo.
Displays excellent time management skills.
Must be forklift certified.
Comfortable operating delivery vehicles/large equipment.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
· Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
· Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
· Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
