The Construction Industries Segment CFO team is seeking an Analyst in Irving, TX to support the segment group CFO organization. This role will have high-visibility and exposure to a large segment consolidations environment offering insight into upper-management and executive office decision-making. This role will encourage you to demonstrate and develop your communication, presentation, and financial analysis skills, along with providing avenues to interact regularly with senior management within Construction Industries as well as being a liaison with other groups throughout the enterprise.What You Will Do:

Consolidation of multiple business units, perform margin analysis, and present to senior management.

Partner with divisions to prepare board reporting materials and segment performance

Provide insights on the financial results to assist senior management with business decisions.

Collaboration across segment groups in support of monthly closing, quarterly and annual forecasting, and quarterly external release.

Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.

Advise and provide guidance to multiple functional areas and levels of authority on financial analysis methodology.

Develop new tools and analytics to streamline reporting and deliver business insights.

What You Have:

Education/Experience: This position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business related degree and 5+ years of job related experience

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal skills.

Prior FP&A and consolidated reporting experience – preferably large-company focus (Fortune 500)

Ability to resolve issues independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Familiarity with tools such as Excel and Power BI

This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office

Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.

Limited travel is possible (less than 5%)
