Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe EKG Technician is under the direction of the Medical Director and the Cardiopulmonary Supervisor. According to specific instructions and established departmental policies and procedures, the EKG Technician must demonstrate the ability to assess, treat and care for patients who suffer from acute and chronic abnormalities of the cardiovascular system. The individual will have the skills and knowledge level required to provide care to patients as delineated in their scope of services. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.What qualifications you will need:
Formal EKG certification and training preferred. Hospital based training/experience preferred.
One (1) year of hospital-based experience in EKG preferred
Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
ACLS preferred
