Accounting Clerk

Description We are searching for an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team. This role is based in Midland, Texas, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, your primary task will be to manage and process financial information, maintain accurate records, and respond to relevant inquiries.Responsibilities: Assist in daily accounting duties to ensure smooth financial operations. Accurately enter data into the company's financial systems. Process credit card payments, ensuring all transactions are correct and up-to-date. Organize and maintain financial files and records for easy retrieval and reference. Manage accounts payable, ensuring all vendors are paid in a timely manner. Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing clients, and following up on any outstanding payments. Perform account reconciliation tasks as required. Handle light collections duties, contacting customers to resolve payment issues. Respond to incoming calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving inquiries. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management Strong data entry skills are essential Ability to handle invoice processing tasks efficiently Microsoft Excel proficiency is a must Experience with NetSuite software is preferred Previous experience in Collections is a plus Ability to manage and process Credit Card Payments efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
