Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime. The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe. Responsible for the supervision, control and analysis of the division’s accounting systems and procedures. Including, but not limited to, cost accounting and general ledger and their supporting systems. Under the direction of the division controller, supervise accounting functions to assure that all inventory costs are properly stated, according to generally accepted accounting principles. Also, supervise activities to ensure that the corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, according to generally accepted accounting principles. -Ensure inventory is properly costed and analyzed. -Prepare monthly LIFO index. -Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required. -Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the Division and Corporate. -Ensure all cost and other accounting systems meet Corporate guidelines. -Maintain highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, waste reduction and people productivity. -Provide support to business units: daily and monthly variance analysis, actual vs. budget performance analysis, assist in the development of financial forecasts, rate development for standard cost and the analysis of actual rates, capital budgeting support, sales and margin analysis. -Assist in the annual planning process by working with Plant/Operation Managers to develop complete location forecast. -Conduct periodic reviews of Sales, Procurement, and Production activities in accordance with Internal Control Objectives of the Corporate and Sarbanes-Oxley Documentation. -Support the Division’s philosophy of Continuous Improvements by participating in and or leading Value Streaming, Lean Accounting and other Targets initiatives. -Direct supervision and development of multiple Exempt & Non-exempt personnel. -Safeguarding assets and the integrity of the financial statements generated from multiple locations. -Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university; and five to seven years related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities. · -Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed reports, graphs, and presentations. -Proficient with automated accounting systems, spreadsheet applications, and other office productivity software. -3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
