Relief Enterprise of Texas is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Office Assistant to work under general supervision to provide quality administrative support at the site and assist the supervisor and human resources with personnel needs. This position is the first level of support to resolve routine administrative issues that may arise. This person will also schedule assessments with the Employment Specialist, Member of the Work Quest Team for our disabled employees.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative assistance; ensure documents are completed and provided to the appropriate department to include human resources and payroll.
Process Daily receipts and scan them to corporate office or mail them through FedEx. Every pay period.
Responsible for making sure all new hire paperwork is filled out correctly.
Responsible for going out to meet new consumers that have clients that are disabled.
Responsible for scheduling, sending out Tx-Dot daily messages.
Collaborate with the supervisor to maintain good order and conduct at the site; assist with recruiting and hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination; and conduct personnel and safety training.
Assist HR in recruiting disabled employees with consumers in their areas.
Assist the employees with new hire documents, time and attendance, time clock, payroll and personnel concerns; elevate complex personnel issues to human resources.
Perform general office duties to include maintaining filing system, creating required documents, answering phone, communicating with customers and vendors, and responding to written and verbal request.
Performs other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of general office administration and administrative support practices
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Skill in using standard office equipment
