Field Service Technician Customer Service Representative

Description We are hiring for a key role in our wholesale distribution team located in Rockwall, Texas. This role involves supporting field service technicians out in the field who are working on site at our customers to help service techs trouble shoot and repair Kitchen Equipment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for both customers and technicians, ensuring smooth service delivery. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently coordinate and schedule service appointments for warranty repairs. Communicate effectively with customers via phone or email to schedule service appointments, provide regular updates and reminders, and maintain communication until the service technician arrives. Assign service calls and establish suitable service appointment schedules in collaboration with in-house technicians. Handle escalated or special service warranty claim cases, including complex, prioritized, neglected, or unconventional claims, with exceptional customer support. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through proficient organizational and data entry skills. Display strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and ensure efficient service resolution. Demonstrate keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks. Utilize various skills such as answering inbound calls, customer service, data entry, email correspondence, and Microsoft Excel and Word. Order entry and scheduling of appointments. Work collaboratively with field technicians specializing in HVAC and electrical services.Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls. Prior experience in a call center customer service role. Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries effectively. Competency in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience in order entry and scheduling appointments. Ability to liaise with field technicians effectively. Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems is preferred. Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
