DescriptionSpecialization:Cardiology Non InvasiveJob Summary:St. David's Healthcare seeks a full-time physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner to join cardiology group in Round Rock, TX.Qualified Candidates:
Board certified physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner
No FNPs, No new grads please
Preferred min 1-2 years cardio experience (NP or PA)
Cardiology experience a plus not required
Active TX license
Perform patient examinations in clinic and hospital setting
Occasional weekend rounding with physician in the ICU units at SDMC
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be confident in ability to make medical decisions
Candidate should have excellent people skills as well as outstanding communication skills
Must have the ability to teach patients and demonstrate competence in their field
M-F, 8A – 5P
On-call: Estimate one per quarter
2-3 days/week must travel to Austin for clinic and rounding
