Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accountant in the advertising industry, based in SAN ANTONIO, Texas, 78229, United States. As an Accountant, you'll be expected to manage and monitor accounts, establish financial status, and maintain the chart of accounts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information to establish financial status. Ensuring all account adjustments are made correctly and maintaining the chart of accounts. Conducting audits and providing information to external auditors to confirm the financial condition of the company. Using various accounting software systems to perform accounting functions and manage accounts payable and receivable. Ensuring accuracy in accounting entries and maintaining the balance sheet account. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action based on account status. Processing customer credit applications with high accuracy and efficiency. Maintaining accurate customer credit records. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and is well-suited to individuals with a strong background in general ledger accounting and a keen eye for detail. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Solid understanding and experience with Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to maintain and manage Balance Sheet Account Familiarity with General Ledger management Experience in making Account Adjustments Knowledge and experience in making Accounting Entries Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial legal requirements Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
