CCC Group is looking for experienced CNC and Manual Machinist to support 1st and 2d shift.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to fabricate,
modify, or repair precision parts and instruments. Will apply knowledge of mechanics, shop
mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as
micrometers and vernier calipers.
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or
grinders.
Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance
to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers
Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced
variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto
machines
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings and engineering information in order to determine
methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product
dimensions and tolerances
Select the appropriate tools, machines and materials to be used in machinery work
Lay out, measure and mark metal stock in order to display placement of cuts
Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine
malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:

Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
Plan work and solve problems.
Demonstrate solid mathematic skills in basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with possible exposure to noise, dust,
fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and
in all types of weather and temperature conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual dexterity, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Frequent climbing stairs/ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, reaching and crouching.
Occasional work on ladders, scaffolding or high structures.
Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.
Hearing capacity to receive, perceive and react to common construction environment auditory
stimuli.
Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds of lifting/force frequently
and up to 10 pounds of lifting/force constantly to move objects.
Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
