PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT & DRIVER NEEDED

Caregivers are needed for a professional with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 2. I need one or two caregivers to work in my home and the community. I need help with transfers, dressing, showering, using the toilet, housekeeping, meal prep, and outings. I am an active wheelchair user who works from home most of the day. When I go out, I need an assistant to drive me and provide assistance with care. I have my own accessible vehicle, but I need someone to drive.
I love trying out new recipes, listening to all kinds of music, watching movies, crafting, snuggling my dogs, and doing things outside. I am looking for someone with a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humor. I am a positive and patient person. I do not expect perfection and will work with someone who is really trying and prioritizes this job.
There is no direct lifting as I use a Hoyer Lift for all transfers. I also have a shower chair and a roll-in shower.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be over 18 years old
Must be able to pass a national background check
Must be able to work in the U.S. legally
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have reliable transportation
PREFERRED:
Experience in this field
No smokers

There is no direct lifting as I use a Hoyer Lift for all transfers. You will receive training. I also have a shower chair and a roll-in shower.
SHIFTS: M-F: 8am-11am; 1pm-3pm; and 6pm-9pm. Sat-Sunday: 9am-12pm (flexible). Time and duration may change but with notice.
SALARY: Starting pay is $15.00 per hour—paid training. Pay is bi-weekly and negotiable. I will also provide small bonuses at least twice annually. You will be provided with a Pay Schedule and a Shift Schedule upon hire.
