Business Analyst

Description We are offering a contract for a Business Analyst role in The Woodlands, Texas, United States. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in simplifying complex technical problems for both the business and developers. Your responsibilities will also include system administration for various applications and leading agile ceremonies, among other tasks.Responsibilities: Work closely with business partners across multiple lines of business to create user stories and gather requirements. Convert user stories and acceptance criteria into technical documentation for developers, including mapping documents, flow charts, test plans, and requirements traceability matrices. Manage the ERP, document management system, and other third-party applications, liaising with vendor consultants as necessary. Conduct agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, product demos, and retrospectives while maintaining board discipline to ensure all work is properly documented. Arrange collaboration sessions to bridge communication gaps and remove any impediments or blockers. Assist business partners during user-acceptance testing, including environment stabilization, test setup, test execution, and review of test results. Oversee Power BI workspaces and contribute to Power BI report and dataset development when required. Participate in some development tasks as needed, particularly with Power BI. Serve as a leader in a fast-paced, agile environment, constantly finding inventive ways to remove obstacles and help the team document its work.
