Wage: Negotiable, depending upon experience Job located in Shreveport, LA The preferred candidate has a background in HVAC estimating. A background with computer programming/coding or other analytical training will be considered. It is an equipment estimating position requiring strong math and computer skills. Attention to detail is essential. Additionally, it requires good communication/people skills as there are requirements to interface with co-workers, customers/clients and factory representatives. Good organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines are required. A successful candidate must have the technical knowledge necessary to meet job requirements. Direct training will be provided as it relates to the product lines that we represent. This position will provide support to enhance effectiveness of company sales efforts as well as career growth through the company. Experience with HVAC service estimating is a plus allowing for greater service to the company. Primary Responsibilities:
Detailed review of product specifications and selections to identify issues that need to be addressed with consulting engineer by account sales engineer.
Develop optimized bill of material for project and coordinate pricing with applicable factory personnel.
Prepare proposal for customer bid list to detail project scope with emphasis on benefits provided and customer requirements that need to be addressed.
Complete bid file with selections, pricing, job recap and proposal for sales engineer review.
Provide back-up support to customers who inquire about quotes or need other information, etc.

Competitive knowledge of company represented products and competitive products as well as to enhance capability to optimize project bill of material and competitive positioning on projects.
Learn individual manufacturer’s systems for product selection, pricing, ordering, etc.
