Description We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, based in Wichita Falls, Texas. As a Cost Accountant, your primary role will be to manage the accounting functions related to our manufacturing processes. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, process accounts payable, and conduct regular audits.Responsibilities: Manage and execute all accounting functions related to our manufacturing processes. Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to maintain accurate financial records. Process Accounts Payable (AP) in a timely and accurate manner. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain the integrity of financial data. Apply your knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting to optimize our cost structures and improve financial efficiency. Monitor cash activity regularly to ensure financial stability and liquidity. Leverage your skills in SAP to enhance our accounting processes and systems. Participate in budget processes, providing valuable input and analysis to aid in financial planning and forecasting. Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and transactionsRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in cost accounting or related field in the Manufacturing industry Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Experience in handling Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) Demonstrated knowledge and application of Auditing procedures Experience in Budget Processes and managing Cash Activity Proficiency in using SAP software Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation CPA certification is preferred but not mandatoryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
