As a GL Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing the general ledger, executing balance sheet reconciliations, conducting flux analysis, and overseeing month-end close activities. This job function falls under the industry of RH Direct and offers an exciting opportunity for those with skills in general ledger management and bank reconciliations.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the general ledger accurately and efficiently Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Perform Flux Analysis to identify and rectify any discrepancies in financial data Oversee and execute month-end close activities to ensure timely financial reporting Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the company's bank balance with its financial statements Resolve any financial discrepancies or issues that may arise promptly and professionally Collaborate with other financial team members to maintain financial integrity and accuracy Ensure all financial data adheres to company policies and regulations Continuously seek and implement ways to improve financial processes and efficiency Liaise with external auditors and provide required information for audits.Requirements Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with Flux Analysis Strong understanding of General Ledger management Experience with Month-end Close Activities Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Strong organizational abilities and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications in finance or accounting will be considered an asset Proven experience in a similar role within the financial industry Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
