Description The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a Healthcare company to add a Medical Scheduler to their team. This is a fully remote position and you are able to live anywhere in the US.Your shift will be assigned to you upon the completion of training. It will be 8.5 hours between 8am - 6pm MST. This does include a 30 min paid lunch.Please translate this to your own time zone if you do not live in MSTResponsibilities for the position include the following:
Schedules appointments and procedures across multiple healthcare facilities.
Communicates with patients by phone and in person, addressing questions and concerns.
Gathers patient information and explains pre-visit procedures and instructions.
Collaborates with medical staff to optimize scheduling efficiency.
Manages multiple computer systems to complete tasks.
Reviews financial information and communicates with patients and billing departments.
Maintains effective communication with various healthcare personnel and patients.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 1 year of medical scheduling experience
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with Prior-Authorizations
At least one year of call center experience
Working knowledge and experience with medical terminology
