Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled EN Mechanical Designer /Engineer for one of our clients.

Position:  - EN Mechanical Designer / EngineerLocation:  Ogden, UT 84404Long Term Contract (Onsite) Job Summary:

In this role, you will prepare design and procurement documents for the Sentinel Project. This position has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating the design as it pertains to chilled water systems and unique requirement driven equipment. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in piping system and equipment design and will be capable of developing design documents and procurement documents, including Specifications, Material Requisitions, Piping and Instrumentation diagrams and equipment data sheets as well as strong organizational and teamwork skills and proven problem-solving capabilities. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and the client in the development of the design.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Level 1 - Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Mechanical (or related) Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience.

Level 2 - Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Mechanical (or related) Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) development, chilled water system design, pipe sizing calculations, and equipment specification and procurement development for waste processing, nuclear, refinery, power, or chemical process facilities.

Experience with developing custom equipment packages, including skid mounted systems and specialty items, such as security doors.

Experience working on DOD government projects and with the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs).

Experience in working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1, or AS9100D.

U.S. Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug and background check, which includes verification of employment and education.

Possess active security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
