Retail Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable manager with experience in both retail and online selling to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skier or snowboarder, has strong customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service in-store, assisting customers with product selection, fittings, and gear recommendations.
Manage online sales through our e-commerce platform, including processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate product listings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space.
Stay up-to-date on ski equipment, trends, and technologies to offer expert advice.
Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising.
Process transactions accurately using POS systems and online payment platforms.
Qualifications:
1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a ski or outdoor sports shop.
Experience with online selling platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar).
Strong knowledge of ski equipment and winter sports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
Tech-savvy with the ability to manage e-commerce tasks and basic social media promotion.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with ski tuning or equipment maintenance is a bonus.
Experience with inventory management software.
Social media marketing experience for promoting online sales.
Ski Tech
We’re seeking an experienced Ski Technician with expertise in ski tuning and repair to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in maintaining and repairing ski equipment, and passionate about winter sports. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers’ gear is in peak condition for the slopes.Key Responsibilities:
Perform professional ski tuning, including edge sharpening, base grinding, and waxing.
Conduct ski and snowboard repairs, such as base patching, edge replacement, and binding adjustments.
Inspect equipment for safety and performance, recommending appropriate services or replacements.
Mount and adjust bindings to ensure proper fit and compliance with safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and offering gear maintenance advice.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop.
Assist with inventory management and restocking of repair materials.
Collaborate with sales staff to recommend products and services to customers.
Qualifications:
Experience in ski tuning and repair (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, including bindings, boots, and materials.
Familiarity with industry-standard tuning equipment (e.g., Wintersteiger, Reichmann, or similar).
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment issues.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak season.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Experience as a bike mechanic very helpful
