We do rental property move-out maintenance are looking for another Handyman/Maintenance Person to help part time.
Job Description: You will be given an inspection report for a recently vacated rental home and will need to complete all basic maintenance items on the report.
We only cover basic maintenance work, so you will not be required to do things that you're not licensed to do. Anything requiring a licensed trade will be contracted out. For example: you will be asked to change out a light switch, or replace a fan. You will not be asked to rewire a house or open a panel. Almost every house will need nail holes filled and touch up paint, everything else is situational.
Due to the move-out schedule, The first two weeks of every month will be very busy and is when you will be most needed. During that time you will need to work as much as possible. There is very little, if any, work for the last two weeks of every month. Full-time work can be negotiated later on.
A company credit card will be provided for any materials needed.
Payment: Each job is given a price based on the estimated time to complete the work and your requested hourly rate. Your rate will be negotiated based on skill, experience, and market value. We pay well for great work. Payment schedule is typically every two weeks but is negotiable based on your needs. We do not pay for travel time.
Requirements:
Your own tools: Basic hand tools, drill/driver, and a saw, at the bare minimum.
Your own transportation and a way to transport larger materials (A truck or van with storage space is preferred)
Attention to detail: You will be doing a lot of touchup painting that needs to be as close to the original as possible. Your work will be looked over by property management teams, property owners, and tenants, so you must be very thorough.
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall repair.
