The Office of Admission at Saint Michael's College invites applications for an organized and detail-oriented Enrollment Operations Assistant. This key role will support the daily functionality of operations by managing incoming phone inquiries and performing essential data processing tasks within the Slate system. This position will directly contribute to the management of the applicant’s lifecycle and overall office efficiency.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Incoming Calls & Phone Support: Answer and manage the admission phone line queue, addressing questions, problems, and inquiries.
- Inbox Support: Assist with daily sorting of the Admissions inbox within the Slate system, reassigning messages to appropriate counselors, responding to general inquiries, and flagging junk mail.
- Daily Office Opening & Closing Procedures: Manage daily procedures including lighting, music, locking/unlocking the front door, producing daily visit sheets/parking signs via Slate queries, and removing signs at close of day.
- Supply Procurement: Monitor inventory and order general office supplies, as well as water and coffee supplies from vendors (e.g., WB Mason).
- Event & Internal Support: Organize and fulfill meal ticket requests from coaches and coordinate office seasonal decoration setup.
- Mail & Finance: Process and check incoming/outgoing mail daily and submit invoices through Oracle.
- Mailings Assistance: Support the production and assembly of various mailings including admit packets, postcards, and yield materials.
- Inquiry Cards: Enter prospective student inquiry cards into the system as needed following high school and college fair visits.
The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma plus some post-secondary education, work experience, or specialized training
- Previous data entry experience with a high competence level
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of databases
