The Facilities Department at Saint Michael’s College is inviting applications for a full-time Door Technician. The position supports the department in ensuring all campus buildings are fully operational and secured. The position is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with the need for overtime and working off hours/days at times.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains and repairs all door hardware
- Cuts keys for all of campus personnel and outside vendors
- Maintains records of all locks and keys on campus
- Addresses daily work orders
- Participates in an on-call rotation for 1-week every 3-weeks
The hourly range for this position is $24.85 - $26.50.

Applicants should have the following:
- High school diploma plus some post-secondary education, work experience, or specialized training
- 1-3 years of experience in door hardware or related trades
- Experience with card access systems preferred
- Carpentry and painting skills preferred
