ResponsibilitiesThe Juniror Program Control role involves supporting accounting functions, including processing expense reports, maintaining records, and assisting with payroll and cash flow management. It also includes managing project operations by tracking budgets, schedules, and progress, while ensuring compliance with contract and subcontractor requirements. Additionally, the position supports data management in systems like QuickBooks and SharePoint and provides financial reporting and analysis to program managers.

General Support for in Preparing documents and accounting reports

Provide support to corporate Accounts Payable and Receivable processes

Process Expense Reports and identify and address account discrepancies

Maintain general accounting and personnel records

Assist with timesheet and billing reconciliations, invoice preparation, cash flow management, payroll preparation, and post-payroll action items

Create and maintain excel spreadsheets containing complex and sensitive corporate data

Input and manage data in Sciolex systems such as SharePoint, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics

Perform assigned accounting and related clerical support functions including data entry and record retention

Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis support to the program manager.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status report

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract

Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met

Utilizing ADP Workforce Now to enter, maintain, and/or process information such as employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholdings, address changes, and other information

Ensuring proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions

Performing biweekly audits as a post-payroll review to evaluate payroll processing cycles and determine need for adjustment and from time-to-time processes special payrolls to correct errors

Recording and processing federal and state payroll tax deposits as needed

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Intermediate to advanced experience using Excel to reference and interrelate data, create and run pivot tables, index, index match, and V-lookup; Strong MS Excel using Pivot tables, sum functions, and if functions with large amounts of data

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks and/or SL Dynamics) is preferred

Very Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power-Point

Strong analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
