Headstone Installer / Driver – Virginia Monument Company
Location: Based in Virginia (travel to cemeteries throughout the region) truck in Zion Cross Roads
Pay: Negotiable, annual bonus on top
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-time (can work with schedules)
Virginia Monument Company, a women-owned memorial business, is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Headstone Installer.
This position is approximately 70% driving and 30% hands-on labor. The right candidate will take pride in detailed, meaningful work and be comfortable working independently while representing our company at cemeteries across the state.
Responsibilities:
Safely drive company vehicles to cemeteries for installations and service work
Uncrate, move, and install granite and bronze memorials
Prepare foundations, including dry-pour concrete setups when required
Learn and follow individual cemetery installation requirements
Load, transport, and properly secure monuments
Maintain company truck: clean, fueled, and in safe working order
Work independently with attention to safety, precision, and respect for cemetery grounds
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (required)
Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Experience in construction, landscaping, or stone setting a plus
