Description We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Chester, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be providing customer service in a healthcare setting, supporting the operations of a clinic. This is an opportunity for a short term contract employment where you will be responsible for various tasks ranging from handling phone calls to maintaining clean office spaces.Responsibilities: Provide customer service support in a healthcare setting, ensuring all patients and visitors are greeted and assisted promptly. Handle phone calls, including scheduling appointments and addressing patient inquiries. Verify insurance details and ensure all patient records are updated and accurate. Maintain a clean and organized office environment for optimal operations. Utilize Dentrix Dental Software and EHR SYSTEM for efficient operations. Oversee the billing functions, ensuring all patient charges are accurate and timely. Familiarize with HealthCare.gov for effective patient support. Assist in clinical trial operations when necessary. Provide support related to dialysis treatment, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Assist in any other administrative tasks as required, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic. Requirements Proficiency in using Dentrix Dental Software Expertise in EHR SYSTEM operations Proficiency in handling Billing Functions Experience in Clinical Trial Operations Knowledge of Dialysis procedures and protocols Familiarity with HealthCare.gov navigation and usage Understanding of Insurance processes and policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in a healthcare or medical environment is beneficial Patient-centric approach with a high level of empathy and understanding Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail A team player with the ability to work independently when required Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry changes and advancements.
