GDIT SCM acquires goods and services on behalf of the company, develops supply chain strategy, builds strategic supplier relationships, manages supplier risk, and influences the downstream lifecycle. SCM operations provides foundational support across the organization including policy development, communications, training, compliance, and process optimization.The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and should be able to support multiple responsibilities simultaneously.HOW A SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data

Collect and analyze supply chain data in order to understand where the errors in the supply chain are occurring, and what factors may be causing them

Develop requirements and standards for procurement, delivery packaging and inventory procedures

Determine the most cost-effective methods of shipment and schedules

Recommend improvements to boost performance and reduce costs

Partner with other internal and external to implement changes and new systems

Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects

Maintains current knowledge of supply chain management trends

Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

​Working knowledge of Government acquisition environment and regulatory requirements

Problem-identification and solution development skills

Strong analytical skills

Experienced in all Microsoft Office programs

Superior customer service related skills

Ability to meet timelines and schedule milestones

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
