I'm looking for someone on Friday and Saturday from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
You must enjoy being outside. My father enjoys sitting outside even when hot and he does sit out some during the colder months. Must be able to walk with him up to a mile on our property. He is a brisk walker for being nearly 90 years old.
Must make sure he is showered and has brushed his teeth (he has the ability to but due to dementia he sometimes needs a reminder) Make sure he had lunch (generally just wants a sandwich) and cook dinner. Must enjoy or be willing to do crossword puzzles with him or play Scrabble (not keeping score). Help keep his room, kitchen, and bathroom tidy. We live on a farm with geese, horses, dogs, and cats, so must be animal friendly. The dogs do not live with him.
He is almost 90 years old, has dementia and is a diabetic. Must be comfortable with be able to get him to do things like walking or exercising in the house. Must give pills after dinner (they are already put together in a pill box). I am not looking for someone that is planning on just sitting there and being on your phone. I am also not looking for someone who just wants either Friday or Saturday, I do not need anyone in the morning.
