Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Customer Service Representative in the Healthcare/NHS industry. The role is based in Glen Allen, Virginia. The successful candidate will primarily handle medical office coding and customer service tasks within a healthcare setting.Responsibilities: Handle communication with physicians' offices, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurately recorded. Conduct quality assurance work to maintain the highest standards of service. Manage both inbound and outbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Review and translate prescriptions into the system, utilizing medical coding expertise. Utilize basic medical terminology knowledge to accurately process and record information. Handle medical collections and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely information. Use the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system for data entry and record maintenance. Manage the answering of inbound calls, ensuring every customer interaction is handled professionally. Requirements Must possess knowledge in Medical Coding Experience in Medical Collections is necessary Basic understanding of Medical Terminology required Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems proficiently Experience in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software is a plus Must be adept at Answering Inbound Calls Experience in Inbound and Outbound Calls handling is preferred.
