Collections SpecialistJob DescriptionReporting to the Order to Cash Manager, the Credit Controller will maintain the master data for a subset of our customer base ensuring invoices are sent timely and accurately. The Credit Controller will be focused on liaising with our clients to ensure they are able to timely remit payment on all outstanding invoices. Essential Responsibilities:
Debt collection, maintaining receivables at a minimum of 95% within 90 days or less
Monitor application of the daily, weekly, and monthly processes to ensure all Credit Controllers are performing best practices within the organization
Assists with month end reports/reconciliations of the entire portfolio to include bad debt provisions and process level write ups.
Assist the Order to Cash Manager in hands-on training for the team to ensure consistent application on processes and procedures
Maintain notes and procedures for SAP research
Facilitate the payment of customer debt through positive customer service
Support the finance team, assisting with any ad-hoc projects
Timeliness of tasks, reports and projects
Accuracy of information and projects completed
Persuasive and tactfully able to speak with clients regarding debt
Ability to collect money (tenacious-good follow through)
Level of BSI/Product knowledge
Maintain an understanding of all ISO 9000 certifications according to BSI’s regulatory affairs quality policy manual
Hard Skills
3-5+ years of Collections & B2B collections experience
SAP accounting software
Advanced in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
