Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic repairs machinery or mechanical equipment at CMI’s customer site in Kearneysville, WV.Key Job FunctionsManages individual work reception, planning, and completion, reporting back to the Facilities Manager as necessaryRepair or replace parts as needed to maintain buildings, equipment, and furnishings in all aspects of facility maintenance.Have knowledge of and be able to work from drawings, schematics, models, blueprints, and/or by verbal instructions for completing task assigned.Utilize proper safety equipment and be willing to work in environments with dust, dirt, sharp objects, fumes, etc.Have knowledge of and utilize hand tools, small power tools and man lift equipment to complete task.Properly maintain, clean, and care for tools and equipment as well as maintaining a clean work area.Perform duties from elevated equipment to include ladders (step or extension), telescoping or scissor lifts, scaffolding and platforms.Perform routine preventative maintenance on building equipment/furnishings in accordance with the manufacturer’s operation manuals.Complete documentation on work projects to include material requests, work orders, etc
