DevSecOps Platform Engineer

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Platform Engineer to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Reston, VA. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and secure container platforms that power mission-critical systems. You’ll work in a collaborative environment, leveraging cloud-native technologies and DevSecOps best practices to build scalable, resilient, and secure solutions that directly support national security objectives.As part of our team, you’ll not only manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud deployments—you’ll also ensure security is baked into every stage of the pipeline, helping to deliver systems that are both innovative and trusted.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.Automate and optimize platform operations through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible).Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.Integrate DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines to enable secure and continuous delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise cloud-native solutions that meet complex mission needs.Support and improve cloud deployments in AWS or other cloud providers.Implement and enforce security measures across container platforms to protect sensitive data and applications.
