Well Established Accounting & Tax prep firm in Short Pump area seeking a Skilled Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in public accounting to work with small business clients in a professional environment. Must have sound interpersonal, communication, organization and analytic skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handle accounting and bookkeeping tasks for a wide range of clients
2. Perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
3. Prepare financial statements in compliance with regulations
4. Prepare Individual Income & Fiduciary returns
5. Prepare Business Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S Returns
6. Be a team player and be able to share knowledge and learn from others.
7. Communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Qualifications
2 or 4 year degree in accounting or finance
CPA or EA certificate preferred by not required.
Highly proficient in Quickbooks Desktop as well as Quickbooks Online.
BE a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team in a sometimes fast paced environment with an emphasis on quality and accuracy
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
