Review the position below and apply today.We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for the oversight of assigned NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection CIP compliance programs and initiatives in support of the overall Power Generation NERC Compliance Program.

Responsible for coordinating and providing management oversight to assigned NERC compliance programs, including understanding, interpreting, and providing technical assistance for new NERC initiatives.

Develops and maintains NERC compliance program administration documentation, outlining internal roles and responsibilities of the program leads.

Leads, guides, and develops compliance program leads.

Supports development of standards that preserve and enhance reliability of the bulk power system and can be fairly administered for assets and service obligations.

Identifies standards that may have a business impact on Dominion Energy and effectively communicates with affected Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), compliance program leads, and responsible management regarding impact on operations or business processes.

Coordinates, documents, reviews, consolidates, and routes for leadership approval the company's responses to NERC inquiries.

Reviews, analyzes, and comments on NERC technical standards under development.

Provides company technical assessments on NERC compliance documentation from internal/external auditors or peer utility reviews.

Ensures appropriate communications across all registered affiliates on numerous compliance expectations.

Represents company interests in regional and/or national committees on NERC reliability matters.

Supports technical and content review of all materials posted on SharePoint Site and within compliance documentation files.

Assesses, identifies, and prioritizes NERC compliance risks based on regulatory requirements.

Interfaces directly with regulatory & reliability agencies on standards and enforcement.

Responsible for identifying new and/or improvements to content and format of NERC program documents, initiatives, and internal controls.

Keeps up to date on current NERC trends and issues to design, implement, and administer NERC compliance programs.

Develops and provides presentations on NERC-related matters to promote and inform non-executive, executive, and external audiences.

Works with internal audit group in leading, planning, and coordinating quality compliance reviews (self-audits).

Prioritizes and leads integration of business tools and IT applications to effectively monitor and develop documentation necessary to ensure full NERC compliance.

Functions as subject matter expert to both internal and external audiences, including NERC audits.

Maintains an internal task tracking tool to ensure compliance activities are assigned and completed within required deadlines.

Monitors and manages tasks within NERC and regional entity compliance portals, including but not limited to responses to requests, submittals of potential non-compliance issues, and tracking and completion of mitigation plans.

Assists with evaluations and reviews of potential non-compliance issues for submittal to regional entities, including development of mitigation plans to prevent recurrence.

Develops and reviews compliance training modules.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience7+ years of experience in business process tool development, compliance controls development, and/or project management (NERC, regulatory, utility industry, etc.) with the preferred level of education.An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications; A master’s degree can count as one year experience

Prior project management, Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), and/or Cyber Security experience preferred.

Knowledge of NERC CIP Reliability Standards with a good working knowledge of bulk power system Generator Owner/Generator Operator responsibilities, operations, and design.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical aspects of NERC regulations and policies combined with an ability to provide clear, non-technical impact on company operations and compliance.

Demonstrates project management leadership skills, including the ability to manage projects from start to finish.

Possesses excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (including public speaking).

Knowledge of networks and devices that support network communications, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

Basic knowledge of Operational Technology and the cyber assets that support generation Industrial Control System (ICS) controls and communications.

Understanding of how OT and IT networks function differently, and why.
