Description We are in search of a Revenue Accountant/Manager to join our team in the Government industry located in Richmond, Virginia. This role will focus on overseeing treasury, tax revenue, and cash operations.Responsibilities: Oversee treasury operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Manage tax revenue operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations. Oversee cash operations, ensuring proper cash management. Supervise a team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth. Understand and implement the cash to ledger process, ensuring accurate financial records. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM to manage and analyze financial data. Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and accrual accounting tasks effectively. Adhere to ASC 606 regulations in all accounting practices. Conduct regular auditing to ensure the accuracy of financial data. Utilize tools such as Oracle and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. Apply knowledge of Revenue Cycle Processes and Cash Management in daily operations. Hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, applying expertise in all accounting functions.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field Proficiency in accounting software systems is required Comprehensive knowledge of CRM is essential Must have a strong understanding of accounting functions Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Experience with Accrual Accounting is a must Must be able to perform auditing tasks Experience in Treasury Operation is needed Cash Management skills are necessary Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Processes is required CPA certification is preferred Proficiency in Oracle is necessary Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
