AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to be based in our Roanoke, VA office. The Project Controls Analyst position will be responsible for the following items: Works with the company's financial and cornerstone systems and processesApplies financial terminology, measures, financial data analysis concepts, and principles in assignmentsRecognizes processes/project actions that may lead to project financial impactDevelops and maintains WBS for small projectsAssists in the use of drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline dataBegins basic analysis of cost and schedule variancesDevelops knowledge of accounting principlesAssists in assembling data for trending and forecastingAssists in collecting progress/performance data and associated concepts and principlesCollects data and produces an initial analysis of manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitationsCollects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitationsProvides support to tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expendituresSupport performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principlesDevelops knowledge of scope control and change managementSupports project reporting process as requiredMay participate in project cost review meetingsAECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.  With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable, and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.  Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies.
