Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.Nightwing is looking for an experienced Sr. Benefits Analyst to provide day-to-day support to the Nightwing workforce, including remote staff. This position coordinates the administration of multiple benefits programs and functions including but not limited to: benefits administration, vendor management, annual enrollment, compliance, maintenance of benefits data within our HRIS and payroll, and overall management of benefit plans in accordance with Nightwing policies and programs.Duties and Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, employee assistance, leaves of absence, and 401k retirement plan

Work closely with benefits consultants and insurance vendors to implement approved new plans or changes to existing plans by preparing announcement materials, gathering plan summary documents, updating the employee intranet, and other media for communicating plans to employees

Act as a subject matter expert for escalation of employee benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure a quick, equitable, and courteous resolution

Maintain contact by zoom, phone, or email, with benefit providers, insurers, employees, and beneficiaries to enhance understanding and utilization of benefits

Craft content and communications for employees that are approachable, succinct, and reflect company culture

Prepare benefits reports for plan audits, and management

Compliance management; ensure the programs are meeting all legislative requirements including, but not limited to 5500 filings, ACA reporting, nondiscrimination testing, and distribution of required notices.

Lead and act as project manager for the following benefit plans/programs:

Manage employee tickets, escalations and appeals

Manage new employee benefits onboarding and communications

Support open enrollment process and communications

Support vendor review, selection and implementation process for retirement and H&W benefit vendors

Day-to-day management of benefit providers, including the coordination of periodic touchpoints and status updates

Coordinate with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure efficient data transfer and correct data errors

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree and 7 or more years of experience in benefits administration

Strong customer service skills with a focus on employee education

Ability to develop strong working relationships and collaborate with a cross-functional group of partners, both internal and external

Proven capability to independently manage projects, including communications, and change management

Ability to adapt and drive improvements and continuously simplify processes with compliance in mind

Comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty, and change

Working knowledge of Excel for reporting and auditing purposes

Experience with Workday and ADP a plus

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
