Marine Coordinator

Atlas Professionals is seeking a Crewing Coordinator to join our US Marine team. Atlas Professionals is a global leading recruitment company in the oil and gas, marine and renewables industry with 25 offices in 18 countries. This role is working with one of our key clients on a new project to provide support for all the marine training requirements for the professionals working on a new US flagged vessel. This is a fully in-office position in Virginia Beach, VA.Responsibilities :Ensuring that the relevant certification requirements are met in line with the Client MatrixCommunicate with the professionals to organize and book the necessary training, updating relevant systems and informing the client of progressLiaising with the Clients and the Crew Manager on a day-to-day basisScheduling and assisting with crew changesDesired Skills :Marine or Maritime experience is preferred but not required - must have desire to learn about the industryAbility to analyze and use large data setsA keen eye for detailExceptional communication skillsAble to effectively manage time and meet deadlinesUse and navigate comprehensive training matricesProficient with Microsoft Excel
