Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.Ability to manage patients in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic, including operation of Point-of-Care testing, evaluation of results, dosing and scheduling.Job RequirementsMinimum EducationGraduate from school of pharmacy or active license to serve as proof of education- RequiredDoctor of Pharmacy - PreferredAt least 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or completion of PGY1 residency -PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) with in 10 days of hireAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - obtain within 30 days of hire
