The PC Systems Specialistwill support the US Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The Specialist will provide various computer hardware and software services to end users ensuring the seamless operation of our government IT systems.Join our dynamic team at a top-tier organization, where work-life balance and employee well-being take center stage. Oversees support ticketsfor Training Management Directorate (TMD) users.

Report directly to Senior Leadership regarding ongoing projects and tasks.

Direct and lead multiple projects includingplanning, design, organization, and implementation while providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance.

Coordinate support with the local Network Enterprise Center.

Respondto user inquiries and requests and provide technical assistance on PC systems, related hardware and software, and standard applications

Provides help desk information and support; determines the cause of the problem; offers temporary solutions if the problem cannot be resolved within an appropriate timeframe.

Installs, set up or relocates, configures, troubleshoots, and supports PC/server hardware and software; installs and configures software upgrades; configures and performs tuning of operating systems to enhance PC performance; installs and configures network interfaces and Internet connections; diagnoses network cable and configuration problems.

Installs and maintains specialized software, including performing setup functions, developing associated file structures, report formats, and input forms, ensuring file security, performing data entry to populate associated databases, and documenting procedures.

Implement and design an organization-wide set of standards for the implementation of future and existing information systems.

Provide on-call support outside of core work hours for unscheduled events or scheduled service interruptions.

US Citizen

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.

BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or five (5+) years in a desktop support role with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CEequivalent or higher).

Experience with SharePoint-relatedsite administration, optimization, and development experience.

Have and maintain CE certificate inMS Server 2016, Server 2019, Windows 10, orMicrosoft Modern Desktop

Preferred:

Active Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.

BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Problem solver and troubleshooterwho thrives in resolvingcomplex problems.

Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
