Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience in accessibility testing.

1 year of experience with digital accessibility and disability inclusion or experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.

1 year of experience researching a wide range of disabilities and how they impact users' interactions through digital content.

Experience with assistive technology (e.g., screen readers, switch access, magnification), and with accessibility checking tools (e.g., Accessibility Scanner, Lighthouse).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.

Experience in web accessibility principles and an understanding of relevant laws and standards, including WCAG, Section 508, and EN 301 549.

Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability, including best practices.

Ability to identify and debug accessibility issues within web pages using HTML, CSS, and ARIA.

As an Accessibility Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring Chrome is accessible by testing Chrome's features, including bug triage, feature launch review, and product auditing. You will collaborate closely with developers and designers to ensure new features are built with accessibility in mind from the start, responding to user bug reports and investigating accessibility issues.Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,500-$132,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Conduct accessibility evaluations of Google products and services, including identifying and resolving accessibility issues, writing documentation, and training team members on accessibility.

Develop best practices for accessibility (e.g., create standards, update technical reference collateral, participate in process improvement efforts, etc.).

Ensure compliance with accessibility policies, standards, and laws by monitoring accessibility tools, submitting and tracking issues, and developing assessment procedures.

Perform full audits of Chrome across platforms for accessibility issues. Triage accessibility issues and determine their priority and what component the bug belongs to, and test new user-facing accessibility features and ensure they're polished.

Execute test cases and test plans for individual features or small products and partner with product teams including training, reviewing processes, and support as needed.
