We are recruiting for two therapists to serve Ocean Beach School District. The position will be full-time, working 200 days per year. The work schedule will follow the school calendar with some work in the summer. This position is school based serving students in the primary, middle, and high schools. We provide clinical supervision at no cost to our therapists.
General Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Mental Health Therapist works as part of the treatment team to provide direct counseling and therapeutic support to students.

Salary:
Below are the full salary ranges , which will be determined by experience and licenses held:
Mental Health Therapist I: $53,963.83 - $65,655.60 annually / $33.73 - $41.03 hourly
Mental Health Therapist II: $58,820.97 - $71,564.90 annually / $36.76 - $44.73 hourly
IMPORTANT: Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Effective September 1, 2024, the new salary ranges will be:
Mental Health Therapist I: $55,967.94 - $68,079.93 annually / $34.98 - $42.55 hourly
Mental Health Therapist II: $60,991.94 - $74,207.93 annually / $38.12 - $46.38 hourly
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
Experience working with social/emotional at-risk youth.
Experience with social/emotional support or therapy.
Hold or ability to obtain a unrestricted Washington license (LMHC/A, LMFT/A, or LICSW/A).
