Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Accountant (Level 4 or 5) to join the Commercial Revenue and Customer Financing Accounting team in Renton, WA . This position is hybrid and currently works with the team in office approximately one time a month. In office job frequency may change in the future.The Senior Accountant will:

Have responsibility for supporting all aspects of lessor accounting

Be expected to accomplish the work statement while making sure internal controls are performed

Require interactions with business partners, offshore purchase service employees, and internal and external auditors

Position Responsibilities

Leads the research, preparation, data validation, review, approval and reconciliation of complex financial statements and reports

Leads the analysis and mitigation of compliance risk/errors of a complex nature

Leads the identification and communication of cost collection requirements and develops, implements and maintains accounting structure/systems, tools, data and related realignment activities

Leads the development and deployment of highly complex changes to accounting tools and processes

Identifies and leads process simplification and improvement projects

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Employer not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

3+ years of finance or accounting experience

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills and Experience):

Experience identifying and executing process improvements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Experience with Big 4 accounting

Experience in industry with a Securities Exchange Commission registrant and/or public accounting firm

Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft, Cognos, SAP

Experience in technical accounting research

Typical Education/Experience:Senior (Level 4)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Senior (Level 5)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
