JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an individual to help manage the accounts payable responsibilities for a portfolio of multi-family properties and filing as needed, as well as miscellaneous administrative tasks of a growing property management firm. We offer a relaxed professional environment and can accommodate a flexible schedule for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable coordinate with management and site staff, review and process invoices for timely and accurate payment. Maintain property management files and resolve invoicing discrepancies. Maintain vendor records and files.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Accounting degree a plus but not required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Intermediate level of MS-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 2+ years accounts payable.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Rent Manager and/or Quick Books.
- Bookkeeping experience in property management.
- Accurate data-entry.
- Flexibility and ability to quickly shift priorities.
- Must be detail oriented and able to focus with interruptions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Ability to accurately complete tasks, assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
